Mohammed Arrhioui

01Biography

Born in Morocco in 1995, Mohammed Arrhioui lives and works in Casablanca. His practice explores human fragility, suffering and the vulnerability of the body. Working with eggshell and resin on wood, he uses a material that is both delicate and resistant as a metaphor for skin: a surface that can fracture and reveal intimate wounds beneath it.

Arrhioui received Morocco’s National Visual Arts Prize in 2022 and the Morocco Youth Prize for Artistic and Cultural Creation in 2025.
