Khalil Boubekri

01Biography

Born in Marrakech, Khalil Boubekri began his career in the corporate world, specialising in negotiation. Fascinated by the mental and emotional dynamics at play in human exchange, he took two sabbatical years to launch his artistic career. Through instinctive, organic abstraction in painting, and sculpture that embodies the impact of the mind on the body, he explores the invisible: inner tensions, silences, fractures and fleeting states of thought.

Solo exhibition: Le labyrinthe des pensées, Les Tours Végétales, Casablanca Finance City, 2023 (Artwell Gallery). Medal awarded by the Académie Art et Science, Paris, 2022.
